Womenzzz Sleep Health believes that everyone should be able to afford access to our services. Should you have a health plan our office does not accept, or are uninsured, we offer competitive self-pay rates. You can visit us "out of network" and claim the visit toward your deductible. Please ask any member of our front office team for a copy of our most recent cash pay fee listing.

Actigraphy
Some insurance plans may not pay for actigraphy even though it is recognized by The American Academy of Sleep Medicine as a valid diagnostic procedure to assess a patient for circadian rhythm disorders. The patient would then be given the option of proceeding with the study and a fee of $150.00 would apply.

Online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Programs
This is a new and effective treatment for insomnia which is not yet covered by insurance plans. It is offered by BeHealth Solutions, LLC and the University of Virginia. Their fee is $156.00, but the discounted fee for Womenzzz Sleep Health patients is $132.60 and is collected by this outside party at the time of registration.

Positional Therapy
Patients with either uncomplicated snoring, or obstructive apnea exacerbated by back sleeping usually show improvement with positional therapy. There are many modalities available for purchase on the internet to help keep patients from sleeping on their backs, such as wedges and clothing with tennis balls sewn into the upper backside of the garment. A new device, Night Shift, utilizes a vibration applied to the back of the neck to encourage sleeping on your side and requires a doctor’s prescription. These products are available online for purchase from third parties and are not covered by insurance.

Salivary melatonin studies
Although recognized by The American Academy of Sleep Medicine as an aid for the effective treatment of circadian rhythm disorders, some insurance plans may not reimburse for melatonin studies.
